Most of the clock chimes have a automatic night shutoff so it won't chime at night and they also have a volumn control to adjust the loudness of the chime. Some also the a New chime that sounds like a Tubular Grandfather Clock or Church Pipe Organ, Very nice soothing sound. All cases are solid wood and with the quartz movement are extreemly accurate. As well as learning books and puzzles.
